My kitties love these chews, especially my little black panther. He waits patiently, although not quietly, for his chew each morning and evening. The others wander in and out of the kitchen when I am giving these treats, so they don't always get them... but when they do, they gobble them up!! Thanks Scruffy Paws!

One of my kitties is prone to UT crystals so I purchased these chews; thank God she likes them and so does my other cat. They eat one each morning and one each evening and so far so good. Also both cats used to get these acne bumps on their chins, but no longer have been getting them since they started these chews.

My big fur monster was recently diagnosed with urine crystals. The vet prescribed the UT food, but it's full of crap and it made my guy sick. I changed his diet, ordered a drinking fountain, and looked for a supplement to support his UT and keep it healthy. This seems to have pretty good ingredients, so I went with it. Both cats mob me for these twice per day. They LOVE them. I'll have to update in about a month when I take big Jefferson to the vet for his next urinalysis

This is a chemical that supports the bladder lining and protects the various layers of the urinary tract. Research has shown that this amide derivative can be lacking in those that suffer with poor bladder health and that they could benefit greatly from this.
This is a sugar that can help prevent bacterial infections from establishing. It has even been used in human medicine to treat (not just prevent) active bacterial infections
A good ‘all rounder’, bromelain is an enzyme that comes from pineapples. It can promote healing and reduce inflammation, as well as helping in warding off bacterial infections.

"This is a chew that I would suggest all of the ‘at risk’ kitties in my clinic are put on, as urinary treat disease is much easier to prevent than it is to treat once established. Having said this, these chews can also be used as part of the treatment plan for established urinary disease. "

We've formulated the UT wellness chews to be as palatable as possible.
However, cats being, well... cats, means they can be pretty finicky about what they eat. So if your fur monster doesn't accept the supplement as a chew, there are several other ways to administer it:
• Present the chew in a pill pocket or a gel cap, then administer to your cat
• Cut up/Crumble the chew, and mix into your cats wet/dry food
• Put the chew into any kind of soft treat, or inside a piece of tuna or chicken
• Mix and dilute the chew in water, then mix the water into your cats wet or dry food
UT problems can get deadly (blockages etc). So our goal is the same as yours... to support your cats body during the tough times. Because of this, if you are having troubles administering these to your kitty.. don't give up! Try the suggestions above, and if you come up with a better way... drop us an email at support@scruffypawsnutrition.com and let us know!
N-Acetyl Glucosamine Study
The N-Acetyl form of glucosamine specifically targets mucus membranes like those linking the urinary and digestive tracts. Supplying the body with extra N-Acetyl-Glucosamine helps keep the lining of the urinary tract healthy and strong, protecting it from irritating crystals and debris in the urine.
