Recipes You Can Make for Your Cat Whilst Quarantined
Recipe 1: Sardine Mash
You will need:
- 1 can of sardines
- 2 tablespoons of cooked, mashed carrot
- 1/3 of a cup of cooked oatmeal
Instructions:
1. Combine the sardines, carrot and oatmeal in a large bowl, ensuring they are well mixed together. Using a fork or masher can help to ensure this.
In the fridge this tasty treat can be stored for up to three days.

Tinned sardines (...with their delightful smell)
Recipe 2: Beef Treats
You will need:
- 450g of minced beef
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of catnip
Instructions
1. Preheat oven at 190 or 170 for a fan forced oven. Line a baking tray with foil.
2. Mix all ingredients together in a large mixing bowl, making sure all the ingredients are well mixed together.
3. Spread the mixture evenly over the baking tray and bake for 7-10 minutes.
Once baked ensure to drain off any excess fat, these tasty treats can be stored in the fridge for up to 7 days.

RECIPE 3: Tuna Bites
You will need:
- 1 tin of tuna
- 1⁄2 cup of water Ice Cube Tray
- Blender
Instructions
1. Blend the tuna and water in the blender until well mixed.
2. Spoon or pour the mixture into ice cube trays and freeze.
Give to your cat as a tasty frozen treat.

Recipes 5: Tasty Cat Chips
You will need:
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp of chopped parsley
- 2 tbsp of vegetable oil
- 1 3⁄4 cup of oat flour
- 1⁄2 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 340g of tinned tuna
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees or 160 degrees for a fan forced oven.
- Blend the tuna, oil and egg until it is a puree.
- In a mixing bowl mix the cheddar, flour, parsley and tuna, oil and egg puree.
- When thoroughly mixed, roll the dough onto a floured surface until it is 5mm thick.
- Cut the dough into 2cm squares and place on a baking tray lined with tin foil and bake for 15 minutes.
Store these tasty cat treats for up to 14 days.
RECIpe 5: Fishy Cat Cookies
You will need:
- 285 grams of tinned tuna or salmon
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees.
- Pulse your oats in a food processer until a powder.
- Drain your canned tuna and add to the food processer.
- Add all other ingredients and pulse until it forms a sticky dough. If the dough is too wet add some more flour, if it is too dry add some water.
- Roll dough flat until it is about 5mm thick and cut into desired shapes. Create fun shapes such as fish or mice.
- Bake for 20-30 minutes or until they begin to turn gold brown and crispy.
